They had talked to me very well about it but unfortunately I was a little disappointed, the food is not bad but I expected much better ... Maybe it's because I happened on the wrong day and in the wrong period, but also dishes that are good or bad during the whole year they have not been very good. Even in the beers they didn't have as wide a choice as I expected but overall they weren't bad.

Nothing to complain about the food, products of excellent quality, but the service ... Bad to say the least! We were completely forgotten by the waiters after they picked up the dishes for the main course, without worrying if we wanted to continue with dessert and coffee; when we got impatient, we got up to ask for information (we were in a more isolated part of the restaurant, away from the bar and kitchen counter), they simply replied that the kitchen was now closed and that there was nothing they could do 23, but obviously it was not communicated to us by anyone when they collected the dishes). Typical restaurant in the area, fast and courteous service. Good dishes and with the right amount. Just paid. The only "flaw" lacked a bit of background music.

Best restaurant in town!

Discreet cuisine, low speed in the service (in addition to considering the fact that they forgot to bring us a dish which, after two reminders, they used a little credible excuse, having noticed some inconsistencies with what the waiter just stated). Table service leaves a little to be desired; having waited half an hour in the hope that they would ask us if we wanted a coffee or a cake, we opted to get up and pay the bill directly. Recommended but don't expect much.

A very large but at the same time simple place. Friendly staff, very generous and good dishes at moderate prices. Minimal waiting times for dishes despite the queue outside the venue. A hearty dinner for 2 - 53 €. You do not pay the cover charge and if you also eat the second course, a discount of € 0.80 is applied to the first. Ice cream with warm blueberries is a blast.

We were looking for a place to eat typical dishes and this was perfect. We went there twice. The canederli both in broth and dry are very good and the Venetian liver with rice is very good. Efficient and fast, they are very attentive to cleaning. The menus are also sanitized. It is in the center. Recommended.

What to say. We expected German precision and regulars without reservations skip the line (so the waitress tells me after my grievances). The fettuccine with chanterelles (I understand that they are not their specialty) not even whipped with a meat base but with cream, they didn't know anything ... in short, take the beer and maybe some specialties, will you manage ???

I've been going to this place for many years; the dishes are all tasty, very good value for money. In this period of Covid, however, I would have expected from the managers a seriousness that has taken a back seat here. For the entire duration of the meal, about 1 hour or so, my husband and I witnessed a "catwalk" of many people who entered the room without wearing a mask (most were just without one, others held it firmly in place. hand) and then quietly moved between the table, the bathroom and the cash register. No waiter has ever attempted to request compliance with preventive measures! They all pretended nothing happened. Crazy and unacceptable. If everyone continues along this line of superficiality, we will never get out of it.

Very large restaurant with outdoor tables, near Piazza delle Erbe in Bolzano. The restaurant is good and the prices are fair (two dumplings, two first courses, a liter of water and a strudel for 32 €). The service is not the best and the main problem was that we were not brought bread while all the other tables did. A note: it is a restaurant frequented mostly by middle-aged people.

Large and nice place ... shame about the food and the staff !!!! The first courses were served quickly, together with the side dish! The pasta was pre-cooked. To have the meat, however, we waited more than half an hour. We waited for coffee "only" a quarter of an hour. The quality of the products is not related to the price ... you don't pay for the cover, but the waitress on the verge of rudeness asked us how many slices of bread we had eaten, because she forgot to count them !!! The bread is paid separately ... the difference was 0.20 cents !!! I do not recommend it to everyone !!!! I felt teased both for the quality of the food and for how we are treated!

Food is mediocre or slightly above average. The restaurant has a good wine list at reasonable price.

One of the best places in town to eat a good lunch (they have set menus for the many workers who go there. 12€) or dinner.

Service a little abrupt but food was tasty enough reasonable value compared to other places we visited House wine is to be avoided !

I ate here last time I was in Bolzano and really liked it. This time it was only okay. It tends to be popular with the older locals, so it must be good. But my visit this time was only average.

Arrived around 12.30 on Saturday, almost full local we were seated at the table, friendly and kind waiters. We ate a single dish (the farmer's dish if I remember the name well) which consists of a canederlo, sauerkraut, sausage, Arista, and a slice of bacon and a mixed grill with peperonata and fries all very good, the bread is paid apart from.

The meal was really good especially for the price. The waitress was quite nice and the only thing we didn't like was that we didn't knew you had to pay the bread you get served after sitting down. Really traditional and rustic restaurant in Bolzano.

Waited ages for a table and gave up. Total chaos at the front. Many others didn’t have reservations and went ahead of this solo traveller. The food might be good but the service is hopeless.

Food and beer were great! We ordered goulash and an assortment of pork and sausages, and light and dark draft beers. Prices are very reasonable... not tourist prices like the rest of Italy! Definitely recommend this restaurant!

A good experience for Schnitzel and the way he should be , In addition to that you have also amazing Italian and Austrian dishes , the service at the restaurant requires improvement , the waitresses seems unhappy .
